Ezer Birth Collective operates as a social enterprise with two main goals. First, we want to connect expecting families with God’s presence and power in the process of prenatal, birth and postnatal care. We offer birth doula services, childbirth education and postpartum support. Second, we long to see the racist outcomes in maternal and infant health eradicated. A key change agent is seeing more and more Black, Brown and Indigenous birthworkers in the field. We know that due to systemic racism there are multiple barriers to marginalized women living out their calling. That’s why we operate with a Reparations Funding Model. 50% of all profit goes to nonprofit organizations directly empowering Black, Brown, and Indigenous birthworkers.

Becoming an Ezer Birth Collective member will financially ensure our ability to continue offering services with this funding mission. We have a passion to help white women continue to grow in their discipleship around racism. We believe it is crucial for all white women, especially those professing to follow Jesus, to continually learn our history, understand our complicity, and provide tools in parenting and any other realm of influence on how to sow seeds of anti-racism.
